50% say they can not meet the demands of ministry
90% say they have been inadequately prepared for ministry
70% say they do not have a close personal friend
70% say they have a lower self esteem than when they started in ministry
37% say they have been involved inappropriately with someone in their church
70% get 7 hours of sleep or less per night ie sleep deprived

Hey...while we're talking about this...does your church have a "Role of the Pastor" document that guides what you're responsible for? I'm just curious as we're working to prepare one for our church and a little research is a good thing. :)

Yes, a bit depressing, but reality all the same. I know one pastor for certain who could use more appreciation, more caring friends, and a whole lot more sleep! Hey......LOVE A PASTOR TODAY!! I know I do.
